How connecting value to work brings satisfaction on the jobby Jeanne Sparrow
“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” is a piece of advice frequently given to college students and those in career transition. I’d argue there’s more truth to it than it’s given credit for. We don’t often think purposefully about what we do, who we are, or how we move through the world. But once we become intentional about all that, the outcomes we create are charged with a different energy. They become stronger and more impactful, and we, in turn, find connection and community.
